Description
Primary responsibilities will include teaching introductory English courses and support labs, advising students, and service to the college, community and discipline.

The Department of Humanities offers a baccalaureate degree in English and provides service courses to support the College’s associate degrees and other baccalaureate degree programs.

Opportunities are also available at Fort Valley and McDonough Locations.

Academic Year – Fall 2017 / Spring 2018

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in English, or English Education or related field with 18 graduate semester hours in English. Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching with special attention to needs of diverse populations, prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred. Preferred candidate will be flexible, innovative, highly motivated, and enthusiastic about student success.
